Privacy Policy for L5 Assistant

This Privacy Policy describes how Effortless Trading, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our L5 Assistant product and any associated services (collectively, the "Service").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using L5 Assistant, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this policy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DATA COLLECTION AND USE:

L5 Assistant is designed to understand and respond to your requests by observing your screen activity and listening to your audio input. This involves collecting and processing sensitive data.

Currently, all data collected during your L5 Assistant sessions, including screen recordings, audio recordings, and installed application lists, is saved indefinitely ("forever") and may be reviewed by humans to improve the L5 Assistant.

If you are not comfortable with your screen activity, audio, and installed apps list being recorded, saved indefinitely, and reviewed by humans, DO NOT USE L5 ASSISTANT. Do not use L5 Assistant for any activities or with any information you consider private, confidential, or that you do not wish to be saved or reviewed.

We may offer an option in the future to prevent your data from being saved and reviewed, but this option is not currently available.

1. Information We Collect

When you use L5 Assistant, we collect the following types of information:

Installed Applications List: When you start a session with L5 Assistant, a list of the applications installed on your device is sent to our servers.
Screen Recordings: During an active L5 Assistant session, your device's screen content is continuously streamed to our servers and recorded. This includes everything visible on your screen.
Audio Recordings: During an active L5 Assistant session, audio from your device's microphone is continuously streamed to our servers and recorded. This includes your voice commands and any ambient sounds captured by the microphone.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with L5 Assistant, such as the commands you give, the features you use, and session duration. (This is largely encompassed by screen/audio recordings).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Provide and Operate the Service: To enable L5 Assistant to understand your environment and fulfill your requests.
To Improve L5 Assistant: This is a primary use of your data. The collected data (installed applications list, screen recordings, audio recordings) is saved indefinitely and used for analysis, training our AI models, and improving the functionality, accuracy, and user experience of L5 Assistant. This improvement process includes review and annotation by human reviewers.
To Develop New Features: Insights from your data may help us develop new features and capabilities for L5 Assistant.
For Troubleshooting and Support: To diagnose and resolve technical issues with the Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

With Human Reviewers: As stated, your data (screen recordings, audio recordings, installed apps list) will be accessed and reviewed by human personnel (employees or contractors bound by confidentiality obligations) for the purpose of improving L5 Assistant.
Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data storage, and analytics. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Service, or protect against legal liability.
Business Transfers: If Effortless Trading, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.

4. Data Retention

As explicitly stated, once an L5 Assistant session ends, the data collected during that session (installed applications list, screen recordings, audio recordings) is saved indefinitely ("forever") on our servers. This long-term retention is for the purpose of continuously improving L5 Assistant through ongoing analysis and model training, including review by human reviewers.

If you are not comfortable with this indefinite retention and review, you should not use L5 Assistant.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption in transit and access controls. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

6. Your Choices

Given the current functionality of L5 Assistant:

Use of Service: Your primary choice is whether or not to use L5 Assistant, understanding the data collection, use, and retention practices described in this policy.
Opt-Out of Saving/Review: Currently, there is NO OPTION to prevent your session data from being saved indefinitely and reviewed by humans. We may introduce such an option in the future, but it is not available at this time.
Stopping Data Collection: You can stop the collection of screen and audio data at any time by ending your L5 Assistant session. However, data collected up to that point will still be saved and subject to review as described.

7. Children's Privacy

L5 Assistant is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold if required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
